The 2013 crop will be ready for harvest in the next week or two.  Contact us if you’d like to acquire some.  We can discuss terms.  They may actually be certified organic by that time.

CAM00071 IMG_0290I believe there are 19 frames that must be constructed toward completing the south (and final) wall.  Kim is off to a good start.  Tomorrow we will be completing the wing portions of the south wall – then the 3-level center will commence!  We may actually get this structure enclosed this year!  (A deck is planned off this south side with access from each bedroom and the central living area.)

IMG_0281CAM00073 Some people wonder why we would want to live so far from the city … don’t we miss the social outlets and activities the city offers?  (Spectacular sunsets, 16 pints of peach jam from our own tree.  It’s hard to experience much better than this.  I wouldn’t trade these for city life.)

Our oldest daughter, Tanya,  has written, composed and performed her own music since 2001.  Her music is creative, insightful and beautifully sung.  The following is a link to some of her acoustic autoharp music.  Consider this an introduction to some of the music we hope she will perform at our open house when our project is finally complete!
